VANNI — BLACK PATENT ELEVATOR OXFORDS (+3.15" / +8 CM)
Vanni. For evenings that go down in history.
Red carpet, gala, black tie. There are occasions where looking good isn't enough — you have to look impeccable. Vanni is evening elegance distilled: classic cap-toe Oxfords in mirror-finish patent leather that catches light like black obsidian. The closed lacing — the hallmark of a true Oxford — and the precisely stitched toe cap create a silhouette that has been the absolute canon of the formal wardrobe for over a century.
A sole that speaks in a whisper — and everyone hears it.
Vanni hides a detail usually reserved for the very highest tier of footwear: a sole in deep burgundy, stamped with the Faretti name. It's a signature visible only in motion — climbing stairs, crossing your legs — precisely when an elegant man allows himself a little extravagance. Integrated black anti-slip inserts at the forefoot and heel pair that flourish with genuinely sure footing on parquet, marble and wet pavement.
+3.15 inches (+8 cm). The invisible advantage.
Inside works a refined height-increasing system that adds a full 3.15 inches (+8 cm), entirely invisibly. The profile keeps the proportions of classic formal footwear on a low, formal heel, while the anatomically contoured insole, lined in natural leather, distributes your weight evenly enough that an hours-long reception or wedding ends without a trace of fatigue. You walk in taller, you stand differently — and the secret stays yours.
Every pair is made by hand.
Why Vanni?
Because it plays in the same league as a dinner jacket and a properly cut suit. Black patent is the only correct choice for black tie — not a preference, a rule — which makes Vanni the natural partner for a wedding (your own or someone else's), a business gala, a premiere or a New Year's Eve ball. These are shoes for the most important evenings of your life, and they keep pace every single time. Literally and figuratively.

How to measure your foot
-
Stand on a sheet of paper, ideally in the evening — your foot is at its largest then.
-
Mark your heel and longest toe, then measure the distance with a ruler.
-
Compare the result with the table.

NO ONE WILL SEE IT. YOU'LL FEEL IT
The height increase is built into the structure of the shoe, not the heel. The heel is a standard height — the same as on any other shoe. The proportions stay natural. From the outside, it simply looks like an ordinary shoe.
We specialise in elevator shoes and nothing else. It's the only thing we do — which is why we know how to hide a few centimetres and still keep the shoe looking natural.
You'll notice the difference for the first time in the mirror. Then in a group photo, where you're standing taller than usual. And in conversation, when you look someone straight in the eye instead of slightly upwards. It changes how others see you.
It doesn't change who you are. It changes how you feel every day.
