GIANLUCA — BLACK CROC-EMBOSSED ELEVATOR TRAINERS (+2.76" / +7 CM)
Gianluca elevator trainers prove that a trainer can be every bit as luxurious as a dress shoe. This exceptional model brings together three textures of genuine leather in a single silhouette: a striking croc-embossed front panel, soft suede across the heel and quarters, and a smooth, rubberised toe.
All in deep black, broken only by a fine white stripe running along the side — the kind of detail you'd expect from a fashion house rather than a height-increasing shoe.
Three leathers, one shoe
Most trainers at any price are made from a single material. Gianluca is built from three, each chosen for what it does best.
The croc-embossed panel across the vamp and side is the shoe's signature — a deep, sculptural texture that catches light from every angle and gives an all-black shoe something to say.
The suede at the heel and collar is softer against the ankle and adds a matte counterpoint to the sheen of the embossing; the contrast between the two is what stops the shoe reading as flat.
And the smooth rubberised toe is quietly practical: it's the part of any trainer that takes the most abuse, and here it's finished to resist scuffs rather than show them.
Inside, the lining and insole are genuine leather throughout — not textile, not synthetic backing. Leather breathes, moulds to the shape of your foot over the first few wears, and settles into a fit that's yours alone.
Handmade, pair by pair
Every pair of Gianluca is made by hand. On a shoe that combines three different materials, that matters: each panel has to be cut, aligned and joined so the seams sit flush and the white piping runs true from toe to heel.
Machine production cuts corners you can see at exactly these junctions. It's why these height increasing trainers hold their shape and their line far longer than the price suggests.
The lift you won't see
Gianluca discreetly adds 2.76 inches (+7 cm) to your height. Part of that comes from the fashionable chunky platform sole; the rest from the height-increasing system concealed inside the shoe — an internal wedge shaped to sit under the heel and taper away towards the forefoot, so your foot rests at a natural angle rather than a steep one.
Thick-soled trainers have been a staple of menswear for several seasons now, which works entirely in your favour: nobody looks twice at a chunky sole. From the outside there is nothing unusual about the proportions, nothing to give the game away. You simply stand taller — with no compromise anywhere.
Comfort that lasts the day
The leather insole and lining keep your feet comfortable and fresh from morning to evening, while the lightweight, anti-slip sole cushions every step and grips confidently on wet pavements and smooth floors alike.
The tapered wedge distributes your weight evenly rather than pitching you forward, so 2.76 inches feels like walking, not climbing. The padded collar and tongue mean no rubbing at the ankle, even on the first wear.
How to wear them
These are everyday elevator shoes for men at their best: with jeans, chinos, joggers, or under a blazer in a smart-casual look. All-black trainers are among the most useful things in a man's wardrobe — they go where white trainers can't, and they stay looking sharp far longer.
Ideal for the city, for meeting friends, for the office that doesn't require a suit, and for anywhere you'd rather look considered than obvious.

How to measure your foot
-
Stand on a sheet of paper, ideally in the evening — your foot is at its largest then.
-
Mark your heel and longest toe, then measure the distance with a ruler.
-
Compare the result with the table.

NO ONE WILL SEE IT. YOU'LL FEEL IT
The height increase is built into the structure of the shoe, not the heel. The heel is a standard height — the same as on any other shoe. The proportions stay natural. From the outside, it simply looks like an ordinary shoe.
We specialise in elevator shoes and nothing else. It's the only thing we do — which is why we know how to hide a few centimetres and still keep the shoe looking natural.
You'll notice the difference for the first time in the mirror. Then in a group photo, where you're standing taller than usual. And in conversation, when you look someone straight in the eye instead of slightly upwards. It changes how others see you.
It doesn't change who you are. It changes how you feel every day.
